Ever feel like 2K teams have no idea what they're doing in free agency? Or players refuse to sign anywhere or for completely unrealistic amounts? Yeah, me too.

One of the most entertaining parts of the NBA offseason is free agency - or in today's world player movement.
But 2K's offseason is disappointing, to put it nicely. To get players to sign for realistic amounts, we always need to adjust the sliders. They choose teams that make no sense. Or, with no sign-and-trade option, realistic options are off the table.
The Free Agency Selection Tool enables you to change that.
Users input team, player and league data to create realistic signings. Using what I call Likelihood to Leave (LtL), you can see if a star player will choose to sign elsewhere, or if he's still under contract if he will request a trade and where he might want to go.
The tool also generates randomized but realistic contract amounts and durations based off the player's overall, time in the league, and where he signs.
All of this helps make it so that you aren't relying on what 2K's flawed offseason logic provides, but instead to create a realistic and engaging free agency experience.
